The Chartbombing Concert
I had just spent an entire day running a promotional blitz to try and push a song from my new album into the iTunes and Amazon charts. Hundreds of people had volunteered their hard-earned 99¢, some of them even grabbing the whole album in the process, and through it all I got to watch the love pouring in from Twitter, Google+, and text messages. Truly, I have the best fans ever invented.
To cap off the Epic Day of Much Hype™, I performed a full streaming concert on UStream, YouTube Live, and Google Hangouts, thanks to the wonderful Lynette Radio. To say the least, I was exhausted, but I didn’t care… I had two or three full chat rooms, a full mug of my own beer, and a new studio set to play in. I wish every Wednesday could be like that!
