Eager to escape the oppressive New Hampshire heat wave, I headed for somewhere cooler. Somewhere breezier. Somewhere… wait, FLORIDA? Man, I need to smack some sense into my agent. Crap, I am my agent. Excuse me while I smack myself.

In the mean time, this year was the best Megaplex I’ve been to yet. The people that came to my show were energetic, responsive, and ready to have fun. Good thing, too, ’cause it wasn’t going to be easy distracting them from the temperatures outside!

Occasionally Matthew plays for a crowd that’s not entirely human. This year’s Megaplex convention brought him one of the biggest crowds he’s played to date. It also helped him out of a sticky situation with the All-Access and VIP subscribers.

Regarding the audio quality, Matthew explains a bit:

In order to get the crowd in the recording, I had to butcher the vocals a little. Next time I play a show like this I’ll have a microphone set up out in the crowd rather than relying on the one that’s attached to my head. Hopefully it’s still tolerable in this recording!
